CJC 1295 (No DAC) (5mg), also frequently referred to as Mod GRF 1-29, is a synthetic analog of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH). It stimulates the pituitary gland to produce and release Growth Hormone (GH) in a pulsatile manner.
Key Characteristics
-
- Mechanism: Unlike CJC-1295 with DAC, the “No DAC” version lacks the Drug Affinity Complex. This prevents it from binding to blood albumin, resulting in a much shorter half-life of 30 to 60 minutes.
- Pulsatile Release: The short half-life closely mimics the body’s natural, endogenous bursts of GH.
- Research Grade: This product is typically supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder and is restricted strictly to in-vitro and laboratory research.
Reconstitution & Preparation
For laboratory research, the 5mg vial must be reconstituted using a sterile diluent, usually Bacteriostatic Water (BAC).
-
- If you introduce 1 mL of BAC water, the resulting concentration is 5 mg ÷ 1 mL = 5 mg/mL.
- If you introduce 2 mL of BAC water, the resulting concentration is 5 mg ÷ 2 mL = 2.5 mg/mL.
Storage Guidelines
- Lyophilized (Dry) Powder: Store in a cool, dry place (usually -20°C to 20°C) to maintain maximum shelf life.
- Reconstituted Solution: Once mixed with BAC water, the peptide must be kept refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C and used within a short timeframe to maintain stability.
